Its not that hard too see if its 20 inch,mercury made those shape exhaust housings for more than 30 years now ,and made them in 2 variations 20 inch and 25 inch ,the 25 inch afer +- 1994 have a one piece casting ,the earlier ones have a 5 inch spacer that bolts on .
the shape is different in the lower part of the exhaust housing(one piece casting) ,because of that 5 inch more .
