Don't know what the seller's on about! This boat was listed on E-bay in May and sold for £8111.11 on the 9th May. Suggests maybe not the perfect piece of powerboat racing history, as once suggested.

Unless he's the new buyer who had a change of plan.

Stumpy is correct it was for sale previously but a month or two ago was in the south west now a different location, bit dubious about the answer.

Q: Hello, you sold this lady a few weeks ago... what happens? I thougt she's sold. There are hidden defects in it? Greetings and thx for answer, frank 30-Aug-06

A: You must be thinking of another boat. I have not tried to sell Miss Bovril 2 before, ther are no defects of which i am aware.

Something been lying in the bottom for a while see the tide mark

If he is the new owner then yes he's correct in his answer but not the complete answer one would expect from somebody with nothing to hide.

Yes, he is the new owner - I have a similar boat and spoke to him a couple of times after he bought it about re-engineing options, seemed a reasonable type, but living in Cambridge not clear about where he would use her maybe nearby rivers/canals? or The Wash. So maybe he's had a change of heart.

The water in the engine bay is a telltale that she's been stored outside - my engine hatch leaks straight into the bilge.
