Dont know bout them but i know the plastic rams break and the silly screws fall out wouldnt even waste time fitting them

I wouldn't use either in any kind of performance application if you are looking for reliability or longevity

We had the Lenco ones for RB08 which are similar to bennet we Broke them on nearly every stage on the joints kept snapping the s/s bolts now spending money on some decent mercuary K planes I Wish we spent the money on them in the first place!!

I think some of it is down to how you drive, and I don't necessarily mean how fast you drive.
Some people seem to bust every aspect of their boat, every time they go out, and never win a thing, some people win loads, go like fkk, and never seem to break anything, go figure.
I'm not saying Bennett are a perfect, or even a good choice for a race, or performance boat, just that it aint always entirely the fault of the kit itself when it fails.

I've got a set you can have but the pump leaks oil and there's no switches.They measure 350x150mm and have single rams.

Trim tabs
I decided to have a go at making my own billet set of tabs for the Sequel 'if I ever get it'.
I will take a pic of them later but here is the cad model. Tabs are 12mm 'THK' so shouldn't break in a hurry.

We built our own tabs, 10" wide and 24" long (tapered) for the E26 race boat. Fabricated rather than billet, using 12mm ali. used a pair of the square ali rams from Keikhaefer.

Rams
Jon the Ram is the only part I have outstanding on these at the moment.
Looking at a 40mm bore 100mm stoke Full stainless ram .
Pumps are sorted.
The tabs have turned out really nice very happy with them.

Bang on
Yeh I modelled three different type of hinge, then spoke to the CNC programmer and settled on this.
Less wearing parts than a multiple hinge design, and we use an extrude here at work which is very similar for a precision linear slide.
Not sure if I should powcercoat or Anodise!!

The slightly modded ST16's on my 3.1 ton P28 have been on it for 8 years/4000 miles, I've never broken anything, or had to tighten them up once.
Having said that, I do like the Keikhaefers.

Little bit of a price difference there tho Jon.
I had bennett Tabs on Xtreme, Same rams and pumps from new (previous owner) 1991 never broke them.
Down to budget really.
