Vidor 22ft Race boat on Ebay
Seen better days but as a £200 Project Hull this looks to be a pretty fast hull

I've got one of those, bought it as an uncommisioned moulding off 'Driver 510' on here. It's still yet to be rigged. I was under the impression that it was a 'Marlin Mirage'. 'Blue Fin' found an old magazine advert with one on. the build quality is first class, very tough boat. Possibly a little on the heavy side.

Not even started really. The original plan was to put a subaru turbo lump in it, then it changed to a 5 cyl audi turbo lump. Now I think it's going to be the mariner 200 off the marshan!!
I'll let you know how I get on!

Hi , yes thats a mirage ,iv`e had 2 off them but ribs mid 90s ,rib was also hvy built boat ,due to laws down ere we could only fit a 200hp max, so un Evinrude 3litre was the best to shift it, i was the first person down ere to fit a yami pro,v 200 on my 2 mirage ribs as i do not like Evinrudes , 100kph max with nearly empty fuel, 95kph with full tank,
Now the mirage hull is similer to rib, very tough built hvy hull, you need a big motor if u really wana shift it ,with a 200hp and sits on the back it will take long to get it to plane according to a m8y who had a hull down ere .
Now the driving side off it i can talk about the rib ,but the bottom off the hull looks and is the same ,anyway its totally differant to a ring ,phantom etc etc ,if u see pic numder 1 on yellow boat, check the pad @ the bottom rear, well if u dont get it running on that pad the hull will drop to one side ,right side i think, u might say well i trim it up and thats it, yes correct u need to trim it up more than 3 on dial to start and make boat run level and stop falling to aside and i mean on calm sees , now here is the tricky part, you need to play with the steering wheel, left ,right left ,right as the hull asks u to do that when running fast and on the pad to get it running level all the time, i enjoyed it.

YES your mate's right Bloody difficult to get on the plane....... Who ever buys it put a light motor on the stern and make sure you get the bow tank working !!!! All being said make a good beach boat.

All rounder
I was going to put my Mariner 200 on mine and run it as a good all rounder. There's acres of space inside it and a huge underfloor fuel tank. Should make into quite a nice cruiser!
Does anyone know more about them, who actually layed them up, etc?

A 200hp will be ok if u cant fit anything bigger , but forget the racing other ring or phantoms as u will struggle,
