Wanted- 175/200hp Ficht,Optimax,HPDI

Given up saving to try and buy a new 175 or 200HP.

Need reasonable fuel consumption as I want to do some long distance stuff, Solent to Channel Islands etc. So a Ficht, Opti or HPDI would be ideal. New E-Tec's are just too expensive.

My old 150VRO uses so much fuel, I'd need to turn the whole boat into a fuel tank to get there.

Don't really want a four stroke as the older ones I'd be looking at weigh too much.

Hi.

My boat is only rated to 200HP, however I'm sure the 200 and 225HP share the same 3 Litre block and are the same weight, so I could probably get away with the 225. Need to talk to the manufacturer and get their advise. Plus see if my insurers will go with it.

How much do you want for it?

Transport would not be an issue, I travel to Holland quite a lot on Buisness and could arrange for my Dutch supplier to get it to me.

The 225 is 3.3 liter, think it's about 260 something kilo's.
the motor is 25 ich shaft lenght .
price is 9750 €.
The motor is still on my boat wich is currently still in winter storage

Looks like the engine is a bit out of my range in all respects.

Its a bit too heavy, 25HP over what the boats rated for, and more than I can pay.

In the UK I could pick up a brand new 200HP E-Tec for £8,500 or less, which is not much more than you want for your used 225 Ficht.

I'm looking at spending a lot less on something used, that could even have a lot of hours on it. I can fix most things and If its a bit tatty it will blend in with the rest of the boat.
