Wanted: 20" offshore mid, offshore saddle & trim pump etc

Hi All,

What the title says really, happy to go ridge or smoothback, will also need a sandwich plate to suit a 2.5 please.

Also after an alien cowling, or a Merc lightweight race cowling- will consider all options, fed up of breaking leisure spec cowl brackets!!

Cheers

Ollie

That'll be sweet! My brother's got templates laid out on his work computer for Merc cowlings so he could do you some sweet Mariner graphics for whatever you end up with

simon has one!!

with a nice 2011 200xs on top with just 15 hours!! a proper race engine 15 inch leg, sports master gear box, low water pick up etc etc

if you bought it and put in n your boat you would have those extra legs you needed to go past that b23 that you were keeping up with and just behind of!! think about it!!

wheres the proof that a 200xs is faster than a 2.5 carb. once they get a cle on the mariner it will go just as fast and alot seems to go wrong with the 200xs unlike the carb

xs

hi phill d

i dont think in 2011 mercury would make a race engine - the 2nd gen 2.5 200XS ROS that would be slower than an old mariner 2.5 200 from the 90s?

ive raced a 200 xs for 3 seasons a(C96) and have found them the best motor ive ever had

simons (C10) only issue with his was the gearbox going which has since been re done and other than that runs really well lots of podiums

Franks is running sweet on C9 too at 80mph

The only one that wasnt running too well was matts on easy tiger

200xs is an awesome engine

so much power

i had a merc xr2 on my batboat before and it was around 70mph then put 200xs on it and boom got 79mph down the straight in one of our races, bye bye mariner 200
