Shit, unfortunately does and will happen, assumimg boat is beyond economical repair and now an insurance write off?Loved the 272 myself, crackin boat but to heavy and a gas guzzler. What about a new Shakeaspear 29? A brand new boat we are working on,29ft long,7ft beam, deep v,stepped hull,2 berth cuddy and rigged for twin outboards,be quicker and less to run than the twin inboards.Only building this cause Mike cant give me what i want in the time frame i have Will look the same as a Shakeaspear 650 but with a 4ft extension and a solid windscreen instead of glass,if interested can send you drawings and a brocure down.

Cant u fix it ??? i have a view hull and decks here, 1 - 33 Powerplay, 1 - 26 Joker, and the list goes on,,,these 2 boats are unrigged and brand new....but a lot of used hulls here as well.

Glad your ok,,stuff like that is sad, but remember fiberglass is fixable and as good as new if done right !!!
