Wanted - 80's Sunseeker

Hi all,

I'm after one of the 80's Don Shead hull'd Sunseekers, anything from 21-25 foot, does anybody have or know of any for sale?

Thank you!

Hello Georgio,

There is an extremely clean Sunseeker Hawk 27 outside the showrooms of Offshore Powerboats of Lymington - Offshore Powerboats Lymington. Incredible craft even at this age. This used craft was featured also in Sportsboat and Rib. Well worth a look.

I could be wrong, but I remember the 27 Monterey being in production in 1989 and the hawk 27 started in 1990 , but it's a while ago now , and my memory may not be what it was !

You are probably right on the dates . A tough call finding earlier ones for sure. 🤔

The Hawk 27 is a great boat , and still looks good today - and some of the brochure shots have a really handsome man in

Everyone looks good in Brochure shots I hear. You gotta love photo shop. Anywho back to the question request. Just saw a 89' Mohawk 17,000 (Palma). If clean a stunning all round sports cuddy cabin. Unfortunately it's 29'. Having delivered a number of those that would be my choice at that age (preferably with 41's).

Haha no photoshop in those days, but I was much younger . I would agree on the Mohawk, but the OP wants a sub 25, so the Mexico 24 would be a true Don design , some even got reengined with a single KAD42 which worked quite nicely.

Yep. 100% agree a 24 would be perfect in that size range. We looked after a number of those in PBP and they were all solid weekenders. 🛥 💨.
