Wanted Closed Cockpit Cat or V24 etc
Hi Yaa'll! After a lot of thought and searching I am in the market for a new toy with the possible intention of having a little play with OCRDA locally or whatever..
Whats out there...?? Would consider anything really from a project to a RTR boat, With or without inboard or outboard...
Pics for attention from Scottyboy..etc :-)
Thanks
Stu

Thanks for the response but I'm looking for something a bit less financially committed. Awesome bit of kit though 👍

A few ideas
I've had a few offers of closed canopy boats available but nothing yet that ticks enough boxes. There's gotta be loadsa "barn finds" out there sitting around needing some fresh love! Ideally I'm after an inboard boat so I can fit my own engine to.
A V24 with a fooked engine would be ideal!! I'm not looking for a speed record boat and a wooden hull would be going back on my lourels from the past! Hope someone can "marry me up" with a new partner for the Sea 🚤🚤💦💦

Some v24's with the new ally block motors.
An Argentinian hotboat cat.
Cookie banana shark 35ft twin Diesel engine race boat.
But I'm still on the hunt for something myself. None of the above suited me so far so still searching...

With you on that Bob.
Could but would have to be very favourable conditions or a breakdown on the V24.

The Cat is a Cougar, did mid 90's mph with Evinrude 250 HO, I moved it on and was subsequently fitted with a hotted up Merc and was told it hit 103.
I fitted it out with agreement from Cougar after they had recovered it from Europe for possible use as a next stage of the Honda series but was not suitable. It was registered as D-24 and was fully set for racing with 508 compliance. Stunning boat.
