Are you sure it's a Gorilla 2 you want - they have been superceded by a new one now - it's more like the gorilla 1! The Gorilla 2 had quite a short life!

Not sure what they're calling it, but the II was very differnet - more of a flat plate that the engine bolted to - the latest one is much more like the original - ask your supplier which one you're getting!

Cookie, whilst on Gorilla's Can they mod to through hull hyd's. ie like the old merc power trim bolts. Cutting out the need to run them through the deck/well area?

Looking at the web site it seems quite tidy in it's standard form and may not be worth the extra work involved. It dont have those long looping lines that I was expecting. Could work as I'm bringing the Hyd steering out the same way as the Jack plate pic.

Edit: Gawd knows where the pump will go as it's really short of space between the transom & fuel tank bulkhead.

Dunno, haven't opened the box yet, but it's fecking heavy, 90lbs in total! By coincidence, the steering is 90lbs also, be interesting to compare the shipping costs between Nevada and Florida!
