Wanted, Johnson 300 V8

Preferably with blown powerhead, or gearbox, or both, or even without powerhead!

must have lower unit case, (condition of internals isn't important). Full mid section, cowling etc.

PS. must be virtually free!

Jon, I have a complete lower unit for a 150GT V6. I believe they are the same. I bought it, unused, as a spare but my Johnson was sold years ago. It's still in the delivery packing lying under my bench. If it's any use to you, let me know.

300GT

What on earth do you want one of those for? Is your Anchor broken ? Having blown 6 of them with Peckie on the Carlsberg cat in one season I wouldn't go near one let alone with a barge pole ! Could try Dave Keeling at L&J Marine in New Milton, 01425-613746, long shot be he picked up all of Peckie's pieces.

I, ve got a 300GT block with the top scythed out by the no. 1 con rod; now with a round glass top on it, that I use as a coffee table. I will try to post a pic of it, looks good painted black with the damage picked out in red and you can fit eight bottles of wine/ champagne in the bores as they are so big. About all that they were useful for- except an anchor.
