Why can't you belive we run a 25 pitch high five !
We have had the high five prop since they first came onto the market in the 90's we imported from the US, then we had a Ring 20 with 200hp mercury
We have 2 x chopper props & a laser 2 23pitch in the garage that never get used
The engine revs to 5800 rpm with the high 5 and is the best all round prop for pleasure use

Hi Jason, didnt think a 25 high 5 would get up on the plane fast with a 20ft phantom and a 150 merc thats really good goin, do you have your engine high and what speeds are you seeing, i always thought these props where for heavy inboards for low down power to help with skier or wakeboard, iv always used trophys lasers if i put a 25 on my boat we would never get up on one ski lol

Try a 22 pitch high 5 if you can get hold of one on your boat!
Standard set up engine bolted onto transom . We like that the high 5 launches the boat onto the plane and gives us low 60 mph at WOT
Tim we have tried all kinds of props and this works for us, when we meet up you can see for yourself, you will have to take us to Windermere or come over to Abersoch
Have a look at our video , this is with the high 5 25 pitch prop on it , we were still running in the engine on this video

Not sure if we will be out again this year, we had the boat out last weekend in nice weather, the forecast is not good for the next 7 days in Abersoch, Gale force winds etc

I can agree with the high 5 theory slightly slower top end than laser but real good acceleration.
I have one you can try. What are you trying to achieve ?

Well the laser im running now hits the limiter at just over half throttle, i didnt mind this as we were just watersking so the acceleration is brilliant, just wanted to go up a couple of pitches for abit more top end, iv been offered a ballistic xl, think i will give that a miss, been offered a raker 24 which i would love to try out but the cost of new hub and change ontop of prop not worth it to me, so i think i just want a 24 pitch prop for top end for over the winter and have done with it
