wanted merc 135 gearbox

right got my mits on a fletcher 17 with a merc 135 (engine has been on fire at some point) however there is no gear box (just to make things a little more tricky) so am hunting high and low for a new box. age of engine is 1993/1994 ish

Tidyboy.............that must be the same model fletch as mine. I;m sure therefore thats a 2.0L 135 merc???

I know i post his name quite regularly, but i'd try Greg @ GB watersports in peterborough. he has literally shed loads of used merc bits..............& he doesnt rip you off.

cheers - don`t suppose you have a number for him. Another pic of boat and engine - gonna need a load of bits to get this going again.

Post a list of bits...........peeps around here will help, i'm quite sure.

I trust you know thats a 17ft Arrowbeau (very similar hull to mine). Fletcher mad that boat for donkeys, but by looking at the screen & seat trim style i'd guess its around '87. The engine is; as you say circa early 90's.

cheers for your help - much appreciated. Hull is 87 will find out for deffinate what year the engine is. Going to spend most of the day assesing the damage. Tis a bit of a mess under the hood.
