Hi Tony and thank you for your kind offer. Since I placed the thread I have managed to over come the immediate problem, and that was to line Mercedes diesel engine up with a Bravo drive.

I have made my own bell housing and wanted to weld the bush lugs to align with the inner transom plate. After starting the thread I realised that the centre of the crank has recess for a bearing for the manual clutch version which is 35mm bore, I then realised coincidently that the outer transom plate on a bravo drive has a bearing with 35mm bore. So I ordered a piece of sliver steal ground to 35mm dead, it was an absolute perfect fit.

I will bear you offer in mind for when I install the engine and drive in the boat.

Many thanks and kind regards

David

Hi David,
I saw those on ebay too, shame postage was the killer, but trickett marine in Poole sell them for £55 + vat according to their website.
But thanks to Tony for his kind offer which I shall hopefully be taking up this weekend.

Nick
