Do we know if the xr2's will still be allowed to run in competitions after the worlds this year?
I thought they were being outlawed?

andy - have you found a motor for you boat yet? lots of good stuff on here...
yes i think they are allowing XR2's... maybe some of the other boys could confirm that?

I offered him 'the one' and he said it was too powerful
Best of luck with the search Jacques, would be good to have someone from guernsey racing again! I'd be there if i could afford it!!
Cat should be good once i'm finished with it, needs a lot of work. Ripped the floor up today to find some stunning joinery. The person who put it together must've been blind, or a chimp.
So as not to thread jack too much, ttt!!

Talking of cats in Guernsey, is that old Cougar still sitting in the road opposite the Deli in St. Sampsons?

The old black flash? Nope, it moved the other week.
Apparently whats-his-name roussel owns it and is currently getting it painted. Have heard various rumors about it coming back out but haven't seen anything yet.
I'm sure a few people will think my puma is that boat next year!

I've just spoken to Roy to check on the situation with his boat having seen it outside his place this morning. He is still waiting for money to be transferred and as far as he is concerned it's not sold 'till the money is in the bank!!!!!! So whoever comes up with the dosh first gets it. I believe the offers stand at 13K bare boat or 20k all in.
Moose.

I find it a little ironic that it appears as if XR2's will be banned from next year in UIM Championships and yet Roy won with one that had just completed Round Britain as well!

The two French batboats that Pearny was referring too were B23`s, not the two canopy boats that came to Guernsey. There was a thread on here a few months back.
