I'm after hydraulic hoses with fittings to fit a seastar system they need to be around 12 foot. Lewis

Try your local hydraulic hose specialist, I had the same issue and the company sorted me out. In fact the outfit I used in Scotland were very helpful. You will need to take the helm and ram fittings with you so they know what to match up with.

instead of buying very expensive seastar hose from USA, there is another possibility, using the same fitting ends (mean the tip of fittings)

May be you're interested to buy this in France, the fittings are reusable, you just need to buy the good lenght and the fittings,

can be ordered directly to the web site, no necessary to order trough a french dealer, then shipping to UK.

Or ask to hypro marine in UK if they are able to make a pair of hose with sea star fitting crimped on them.
