May be here, but you need to choose the lenght when you order the sender, no moving parts, except the float, excellent product, very reliable. http://www.wema.co.uk/pg_fuel_and_water.htm
Frenchbruno - thanks but that's not the type I'm looking for, has to be a capacitive sender.
As it happens, the outboard in your profile pic was built by the same people as this bike, they have that outboard in the office!
Ok Larby,
I'm looking in other places to see if I can find out another system for your fuel tank. May be this other one? http://www.gillsensors.co.uk/content...el_sender.html
For the engine in my avatar, the company which was the Partner to the turbine engine project with Mercury was MTT, so the company you're talking about is this one, no? http://www.marineturbine.com/press/misc/power.pdf
for your bike project the link seems to be: http://www.marineturbine.com/motorcycles.asp
The torque and power on your project will be terrific;
MTT Turbine SUPERBIKE™
Engine: Rolls Royce Allison, 250 series gas turbine
Power: 320-HP @ 52,000-rpm, (286-HP @ rear wheel)
Torque: 425-ft/lbs @ 2,000-rpm
Transmission: 2-speed, automatic
Lubrication: Dry-sump/3.5-qts turbine oil
Frame: Aluminum alloy
OUTCH!!!!
Larby,
420HP for a bike!, it's the same power of my engine car!!!
I'm just guessing if you have a straight line long enought to reach the 261mph in Europe! An dwho is the pilot to test this project? http://www.sub5zero.com/mtt-420r-tur...ls-of-diamond/
I hope the gillsensor;co.uk link is what you're looking after also.
Renegade - thanks for the link! Still not capacitive and the sender has to be mounted upside down. I'm going to just build a one off level sensor for now and I'm speaking to Gills about future requirements.
Thanks for the help everyone,
