Worth a look?

http://powerboatlistings.com/view/1581#

Johnson might not approve but it seems to be a cheap boat and the speed quoted seems to be about right.

Downside: 22 degree vee.

Upside: pad keel and notched transom

Overall: Phantom will destroy it in the rough but in moderate conditions - it will be fast.

Current exhange rates make £15k about right.

What irritated me was that the owner said that he would embarass 30' boats with blower motors in rough conditions. I was commenting on the advertising hype.

Think it would be fun to bring a P20 (or even a Ring 20) to the States when we go. They will never know what's hit them. Anyone got one available for March/April 2005? Don't need an engine.

PS Don't tell my wife

Ned, yeah, the add is a bit but people involved in fast boats do write the strangest things.
