Unfortunately my experience with Evinrude is close to zero. I believe you will get more than adequate bowlift with 10" setback. I've used 4-6" on Merc's. Your gear ratio is quite close to my 1.75 on the 300XS. I got my P21 with a 28" and as I will lift the engine a bit higher I will go with either a 29" or 30". The prop pitch depends a lot on how high you run the engine. A bit lower 24-26" might work just fine and a Raker is a great starting point for any Evinrude. At the surface I would go for a bigger prop.
Hi , I've managed to get a Bobs 10 inch set back lifter for my P21. I'm hoping t will work. I'm hoping the 10 inch set back will lift the bow a little more. Thanks for the advice. Will let you know how it works. I have a 250 HO which is about 280 hp. I think I have found someone to remap the EMM, So the HP may go up. The gear ratio is 1:1.72 . Would a Raker 1 work as a starting point? I have a 24 and 26 pitch. Regards Dom.
