Before I go the transom rebuild option which I really would like to avoid. Does anyone have an opinion on the lifter/jackplate option?
I was thinking of a manual lifter with a 2"...

Cougar 21 setup - Transom
Hello everyone...
I have a Cougar 21, 22” transom and we have a Mercury 225 Optiamx XL (25" shaft) that needs a home.
The boat will be used for complete recreational purposes and water-skiing....
