that is strange, Combine this with a convensional jack plate, trim tabs, power trim it could get really confusing! I imagine prop matching could also start tto get even more complicated.

Thanks for the info, do you need different test props for different applications or are are fairly flexable. (1 size for 50-100hp, another size for 100-200.)?

i was going to say nice new NMEA2000 garmin chart plotter but the perfect worked prop has to be top of the list then followed by protrim or the Garmin unit.

What is the biggest engine anyone has had on the back of a P16 (weight as well as power). I have heard of xr2's being fitted:devil: what is the weight of one and whats it like?

the engine has gone already, it wasnt perfect for this boat anyway. Yam 90 was spot on, though the fuel usager was much much less with the Tohatsu.

Twin engine instalation & props

With a twin engine setup i have been told that the prop rotation should be the tops moving away. so looking at the stern, port side acw, starboard side cw. (as in pic)

Why is this? Can twins...
