What we did for our plant trailer as we needed three axles for weight distribution was to have a triple 1800kg set-up as they are the big heavy duty bearings and have the axles down rated to 1600kgs...

Only worth the third axle for weight if you wanna chance the Uk limit. we have three for our 23' tilt bed plant trailer it can carry 4.2 tonnes net, not that we would have tried it !!:hugegrin:
