sounded to me more like the ends knocking than...
sounded to me more like the ends knocking than pistons. I recon its more than likely to be a complete powerhead rebuild if i go down that route, its a c20 year old engine anyway. I might as well get...

Im wondering if lifting the engine up 2 notches...
Im wondering if lifting the engine up 2 notches could of caused this as i seemed 2 get a bit of prop slip as i accelarated untill prop gripped, also a slight rooster tail when engine was trimmed out...

Knock, knock, knock
Went the engine slower and slower and slower it got too, then bleep, bleep, bleep. Bo**ocks, bo**ocks, bo**ocks i went, engine sounds like its knocked its ends out. Must of got an air lock in the oil...
