So I've had a look- the bullet of my gearbox is a good 4 inches below the bottom of the v so given what I've read on here it sounds like it could come up a couple of inches - thinking...

Yrs It's got a low water pickup- so should be okay to give a bit of a lift!
not sure of how far below the bottom of the hull the engine sits- she's still in the water at the mo...

Manual lift
Am thinking of getting myself a manual jack plate- I'd like to have a play with moving the engine up a little but am already on the bottom hole on the top bracket and don't fancy having the transom...
