But the Needles used to be the week before Cowes so all the foreign boats could some over and have a shakedown. Really the two events were pretty much linked - then some complained that it too close...

Really good to see the RMYC putting the event on trying their best to support racing. Just such a shame to see the poor level of support from the competitors. The season / sport cannot survive on...
