I guess it was running a bit rich and so wasn't...

The guy with a the tandam has a laser 2 small hub...

The guy with a the tandam has a laser 2 small hub 24 worked down to a 22.75. Its one of Cyco's old race props from his P20 days.

Good prop that one.

No, I was lucky I got it off ebay put it on the boat and the handleing was transformed. It's a small hub 22 worked up to a 22.5 with I think some thinning and cupping.

Chaos is right, mine still...

Two props isnt many is it. I could put my chopper on my boat and it would a real handfull, then take it off and fit my old laser 2 and it would still be a right handfull and chinewalk all over the...

How much play is there in your steering ram...

How much play is there in your steering ram silversurfer. Its not uncommon to have about 2 mm of play at the ram in a seastar system.

So his may start to chine walk if he went a bit faster.

Burty's has 8 inches of set back and ran high 70's low 80's with no chine walking.

Mine runs about 70 with 5.5 inches of setback and also...

Try a different prop. Choppers arent the most easy to drive forgiving props in the world.

What was it like when you had the laser 2 on it?

And THEN the back follows it!!!! :eek:

I would hope that the back rolls from side to side at the exact same time as the nose :D
