The backs of the seats are nice and smooth, so i'll apply wax, then the matt and resin to make a glass splash. Then if the first one goes ok I'll go ahead and make a mould :)

He reckoned he could get away with a repair on this although there is a crack right through the front of the tray, and as there was no top pin in place the lid has lifted and moved backwards.

Question Seat moulding (Gav??)

I have some basic boat seats (fibreglass) and am interested in how I'd go about making moulds for these. Will they be too flexible to use as plugs? I don't want to damage the seats.
