You are right ,the early blocks were not cosworth...

You are right ,the early blocks were not cosworth castings ,the blocks are somewhat different ,the old style not cosworth has no oil injection ,thus the crank had no gear,and no provision was cast...

I,ve had 2 of those ,1 was a 20 inch 300...

I,ve had 2 of those ,1 was a 20 inch 300 performance engine ,with no performance at all,and threw a rod after a few hours off no performance use.
This engine has the nicasil plating on the bare...
