The MkV had done about 10 hours of testing and...

The MkV had done about 10 hours of testing and half a race when it failed.

Same thing happened the following year with another MkV on 'Thunderbird'. Approx 10 hours testing, 1/2 race and failure.

At the beginning of the 'Gosport 97' snippet...

At the beginning of the 'Gosport 97' snippet there is a very loud yellow boat throwing a roostertail.

I seem to recall it leading with everyone trying to catch it (until it stopped).

Wonder...
