Ive just had my bill from the shipping company...

Ive just had my bill from the shipping company and basically with shipping,duty and vat its doubled what I paid in america.

In my opinion its not worth the hassle, I could have bought them over...

Cars are 10%, motor homes are 3%. Dont think there's anyway round the vat, mr Brown doesn't like to miss an opportunity to get more tax off us.

Ive just imported a day van and dodge truck which will be here next week, shipping is about £800, import duty at 22% on commercials plus vat on top of everything including shipping charges.
