you will get better drive with the engine mounted in the centre which probably means a better top speed. As i said you can achieve the same as offsetting by mounting all the heavey stuff on the stbd...

mines mounted dead centre dude and i've never had any trouble. just mout all the heavy stuff on the stbd side like the battery and trim pump etc.
