Got the final coat of yellow on today, looks OK considdering I can't spray for $hite and the compressor only has 25L capacity so the air kept getting a bit low.

The new dashboard, with SS grab handle.

Fresh rebuilt engine with a few simple mods, ready for new paint.

This is what I had in mind for the bow graphic

looks ok from the pics.a good flat and polish wii get it looking mint

A few more pics

It's nearly ready, just need to fit the seats, gauges, a bit of wiring and the foot throttle from roofer. Got a nice 21" sst60 cleaver, I hope it's not too much prop for the engine! The engine's painted up and the top water inlets blocked off.

It's finnished and for sale, had it out last week and it did 41.8 on gps with a 15" alu. prop. Gonna try it tomorrow with a 21" cleaver.

Some pics...

Lookin good !!!

How did you attach the seats to the boat and where did you get the seats ?

Thanks

Phil, The seats are screwed to a 3/4" ply base I glassed in before I layed the carpet. I built a mold for the shells and had them covered locally. I'm not too pleased with the seat covers, he didn't do them in the blue we agreed on and I specified that there was to be yellow in the back, either striping, pannels or something... There might have been a language barrier as the guy doing them was Nigerian I think.
I needed them in a hurry as I though I had the boat sold last tuesday and needed the seats done on monday.
They were also WAYYY too expensive for covers but....

They don't look to bad I don't think, or do they?

shame you made a seat mould, i have a nice bucket seat mould you could of had a "splash"!
