No it's def. not you, it is a pile alright! But what do you expect for 100 quid!!! Sorry I just happen to like the old ones
If I didn't already have a garden full of projects I would like a glastron project, a CVX 16 :D

Burty, that boat looked clean I thought...

Its amazing that everything single glastron owner selling their boat claims there boat is the actual one used in the chase.
That glastron is a turd!

Wave

I've nowt against Glastrons, or any other vintage boats (I own one remember, the P28 is a 1984 design), I just reckon that one's a Nail.

If i remember correctly,

Glastrons suffered from two points:

One the funky metalflake gelcoats were a nightmare.

Two, the fibreglass construction was questionable.

Wouldnt touch one with a Barge Pole.

I have chainsawed up and burnt far better speedboats than that glastron!

Alan, do you wear glasses or is your monitor playing up? :drain:

It was the sharp that I was talking about there, not the tron!

I'm not feeling a lot of love for the poor tron :D

at least the seller of the tron was being reasonably honest regarding condition unlike the blagger with the sharpe........

I ask ya, quote "the bit where the engine goes" unquote, even my 7 yr old lad knows its called a transom:well: :well:

I see someone has mentioned this thread (with link) in the Q&A at the bottom of the page.
