Cowes (Sat Racing - Round Island)

Yes yes yes,

I had the most wonderfull time, I can also vouch that Robbie Slug, Stuart & Him also had a fantastic day. It was really cool to finally meet the strawberry-blonde mincer and his fine lady wife I only hope everybody concerned had as good a cowes classic as I.

A massive thanks to Matt & Vix for inviting the 4 of us out to the needles in DR....quite a thrill!! I especially enjoyed the look on the sailboat-skippers faces as Matt insisted on hurtling directly at them at 60mph I am also enjoying the purple patch on my right hip from where i found myself lying on the floor in DR seconds after we caught the wake of the IOW ferry!!!

Well done to Carly Baby for his podeum in the Basic Race, especially after his call to me @10.30 the previous evening when he was completely bladdered

Suddenly skipper Matt becomes concerned that the anti-radar paint may be failing or that his pet hamster may have had an anxioty attack & eaten her wheel!

Nothing some old pliers, Vix water bottle, a wee drop of oil and some help from fellow marine engineer "Ace" couldnt solve.

matt foolishly climbs up on deck leaving DR's 2 gas guzzlin V8's in the capable hands of the one & only Capn Chaos HIMself!

After a brief inspection, the capn confirms that the dash contains the minimum permisible number of guages for a decent boat.(as stated under section 6.4 of the crazy persons handbook)
