Argo cat 21, original gelcoat, light build but strong and very well made.
This boat raced 3C when it was new and had been in storage for around 15 years until I bought it and it was re rigged in 2016.
Has broken speed records for 3C in the early 90’s at Windemere reaching 87mph with an xr2 and held the offshore club class record at Coniston for the last two years at around 94 mph with a 200 XRI. Easily goes over 100 with a 2.5 efi.
Mayfair side ram steering with new seastar helm and pro hoses
Custom ally fuel tanks etch primed and painted in 2k paint.
Mocal aircraft style fuel fillers.
All new fuel lines, lift pumps, CNC machined anodized fittings, swirl pot with mount for bosch 044 efi pump or low pressure pump.
Mercury racing high flow trim pump.
High back fibreglass bucket seats upholstered in 2016.
EZ foot throttle (similar to N control).
Stainless marine gorilla lifter.
Transom mounted low water pickup.
Original fibreglass bowtanks.
Large Avon flotation bags up front for buoyancy.
Rule 2000GPH bilge pumps.
Cockpit cover and full fitted fleece lined cover new in 2016.
Lucas marine battery new in 2017.
Trailer had new hubs/wheels in 2016.
Probably more that I’ve forgotten to list this is quite a rare boat in good condition for its age.
In the right conditions its surprisingly fast but even if there is a bit of chop it’s not a problem. It takes the sea very well and has an unbelievably comfortable ride. It would probably be competitive with a 115 in 3B as its so light but I would rather someone put a real engine on it!
Reluctant sale but I’ve had a few years use out of it and want to finish some other projects.
