Hello everybody,
at my Phantom P16 with an Evinrude 115 E-tec , model 2016 I have trim gauges installed, but they are not working yet. I have the original rev-meter and tachometer, which can also display the trim position. And additionally a smaller round trim gauge (seee pic), which I would prefer to use, because of better identification by riding the boat.
Asking the former owner he told me that the cables from trim sensor have only to be connected. After looking more in detail I saw, thet there are no cables from a trim sensor installed.
This is now my third boat bought in England (because I´m from Germany as you surely already felt by reading these German English
) and at all boat with exact this trim gauge there was no functionality.
Perhaps the British guys do not need this Trim display, but for me this is very helpful.
So does anybody know who to connect the trim gauge? Where the trim sensor is located at the Evinrude 115 E-tec? I think this sensor should be installed serially.
Thanks in advance for your help ....
