Ditto everybody!!!! Fantastic event period. You're right Tim, I like to think I could hack a race like that, but when you hear the stories, I start to wonder...

Thanks to the organisors, sponsors, racers et al - you all made this middle aged man very happy.

And the racer's eye reports are just wonderful. Thankyou.
 
As we approached Hurst we started to see boats that had taken the direct route. Suddenly we had a race again, seeing other boats like Silverline submarine through the big stuff off of Hurst really picked up our spirits and I was able to suck it up for the final push home. I think I can speak for everyone in the boat when I say this was the toughest 5 1/2 hours I have ever had in a boat in my whole life.

"Cowes Torquay, It's not just a race It's an experience you'll remember your whole life".

Now, where are the pain pills!
