Designers and Builders

George Marvin designed the Ribcraft 9m. He was also responsible for some of their smaller models.

Ribtecs are designed by Alastair Cameron.

I'll add all this to the list later (in the middle of a Barclays conference now, I'd get shot if they knew I was surfin, whilst doing sound for their chief exec :speechles )

Feckin' lightweight... what's wrong with "multi tasking" ?... the problem I have is laughing at some posts out loud..... the guys here think I'm losing the plot....:dizzy:

Just found some blurb from Flatacraft about the "Enforcer".

They were built on Hunton Gazelle hulls which were bought in from Hunton as complete hulls, then cut down by Flatacraft who added the flanges and tubes!

Didn't somebody cross the north sea in one of these as some sort of marketing type exercise. It was in one of 'the magazines' I guess it would have been around mid-late seventies.

What about Avenger, they were mentioned in another post.

I have worked on a whole lot more - although in the case of RIBs it can often be modifying existing hull designs etc.

Infact I have worked for some very well known boat companies modifying and improving existing craft - still don't call them my designs though!

Other companies I have designed for include:
Revenger
Tek Jet
Cougar
Souter
Technohull
plus others (in varying degrees)who you maybe surprised by
etc etc

What about Tremlets, cant see them in any of the recent posts.

And here's even more info, most of which you probably don't need.

As a young lad in the early eighties, I only really had 2 ambitions, one was to nob the blonde who worked in the BA personnel dept in T1, (I was working for British Airways at the time) the other was to own a Blagg 480 sport. That was the one with the deflector instead of the screen.

I only achieved one of them, I wonder if she still thinks of me, and my Dolomite Sprint!!!:D

Maybe it's Beaulieu? In Hampshire.

What about Reiver Boats, built in Stanley, County Durham, excellent 16' powerboat, racedecks were really light, there was a knack to cornering them really quick.
