Difference between Bravo 1 and Intimidator Quad IV / Intimidator Quad

Hi!

I have been reccommended to try a Bravo 1 prop for my Phantom 25 offshore hull with a PM 300 SVS. The boat runs 77-78 mph spinning a blueprinted A45 Tempest 25 and 45 Tempest 25 at 6.100 / 6.300 rpms. The hull weight is approx. 1.150 kilos / 2.500 lbs incl. engine and driver.

It is very difficult to borrow props for testing in Norway, but I can get hold of a pair of Intimidator Quad IV and Intimidator Quad IV-X's props. They should have the same caracteristics as Bravo 1 prop.

Do you have any experience with those two / three props and any difference between them. I am looking for max top speed.

Cheeers, :D

As I understand it, the Intimidator is aimed at fairly high 'x' usage, and gives good stern lift, ideal for a stepped boat.

I think Matt has done some research on these props.
