I am searching for the Duke of York trophy and knowledge of the last person to win it. Back in 1958 William Braden lobbied to bring this race to Canada and was successful. Unfortunately he was killed at the young age of 42 while in the race. I would like to know where it is and who raced for it last. Any and all help appreciated. I would love a picture.

I just wanted to update my question from 2025 above and say I found the trophy, had it cleaned and it is now in safe hands.

Not sure anyone would be that keen to race for a Duke of York Trophy at the moment.

True I am writing the history in several racers and this is part of it.
