I have bought a Hot foot pro throttle, do i need to use the mercury control box for gear select and trim or do i do away with it?

Gav go for a rex marine gear shift lever same as Burty's
What money did you give for the Hot foot.
You will want to have your trim lever behind the wheel also same as Burty's (Protrim) this way you don't have to take your hand off the wheel to trim up or down.
Have one in stock PM if interested.

these rex marine gear levers, do they fit through the standard mercury control box or do I have to renew the whole sha-bang?
For what its worth I have my T&T controls on buttons coming through the wheel, works well but doesent look as good.

You chuck the whole thing away and just end up with a gear select lever. Tis the one on the right, by the drivers seat

Dan Burty is right you would replace he whole thing.

so do you just remove all the stuff in the standard box, get a panel made up then re-conect it to the rex lever? moving the ignition at the same time?

Why do you need a panel?

Panel or coverplate something shinny thats the only reason
