Oi, u taking the piss :moon: At least its in the water and runs which is more than can be said for a few of the boats on here.

Height of the summer and everyone has there boats in the back garden drillin holes, preparation and planning prevents piss poor performance.

So is this site for performance boats or what? and where are they then, turn out for the poker was medioca and at 55 mph down southampton water in the Tohatsu on Saturday morning I could only find the red funnel ferry to race :snide: which I won, although Matt might give me a good run for me money

Very true! what was that story about your battery/wiring needing a little bit of housekeeping? :lol:lol: :bang: :D :seaman:

Did you do the poker run T

Unfortunately no, watched the start line and if I had realised some of the boats were going to be that slow I could have taken the Pacific along and still achieved a respectable time

Jon, the wiring, ah yes, it works and well especially with a recon alternator, and the spare batteries a degree of back up when I am out battling the elements. Its just that I haven't ironed and creased all the wires into 90 degree corners like yours, but given a bit of spare time I think I could make it a bit neater and use some starch on it :duell: just to get those Sergeant-Major creases just right

Brilliant someone to race against and if Crazy horse :wank: had paid his debts we could have a had a mag of champs to race against. But he didn't. The boys might have to take a trip to Blackpool.

:duell: AHAAA! A race?!!!

I'll be paying extra special attention to weight then, What does your ring go like then T?
I have no idea what this 1900 is going to perform like as yet, got a mariner 200 to chuck on the back, so we will have to see..........:bolt:

Gav, the Ring is really fast, I recon about 90 mph behind the disco on that 4 wheel trailer, steady as a rock. I use the bow tank to keep the nose weighted. Sadly she doesn't have an engine at the moment and is a real basket case. I would love to go back to the previous owners and ask them did you do that bit of GRP work ya nobber, cos its :wank: and did you drill all them holes in the transom ? however for a shed that has been hand painted with a bask broom she might have a glorious future with the top chopped off and some tubes stuck on. That's probably sacrilege on here and earn me an excommunication

However the Tohatsu is up and running and if the weather is nice I might do some more speed trials on Saturday.

T

Otherwise I'll find a way to cheat
Cheating in power boat racing surely that doesn't happen does it

When will the 1900 be ready for the vasser then, moved house 3 months ago and the bathroom still doesn't have a door, but at leat the boat runs, great to be single sometimes...
