According to the 'Evinrude and Johnson Boats' website, this 1964 Johnson Deluxe 17 was owned by 'Ian' from Surrey as of 2 years ago.

Has anyone seen it or know Ian?

Bow on, it looks like a cat with a centre pod. Not a performance cat as the two hulls are identical but a cat all the same.

Boy those OMC sterndrives were weird in them days!

I love that drive shaft link thingy they have, that looks exactly like the cogs that drive the twistgrip on a 20 Johnson just were you tilt the handle up.

And the 'washing machine' rubber seal on the transom, with the screw jack on the front of the motor for trim!

well it is Pink (or sun scorched red) AND its an estate AND its got funky rear wings AMD Bumper car brakelights. it seems to have fullfilled all the main criteria
