I know many nobbers have come over from FIBnet, but for all the proper boaters how did you come accross this site?...search engine, word of mouth etc.

I found you by

searching for "getter a bigger Johnson" on google and this was in the results:drain:

OK far too many hanky-panky references from me over the last week!

OK serious head on now

I cant exactly remember, but about the time i found you lot, i was doing an awfull lot of search engines for things like "Phanom 18" or "Ring 20" or "ski racing".

most of the results were for either sportsboat or boats and outboards. i think i remember seeing this URL on about page 16 or something!

Feckin cheek, we're way further up the ladder en that!

Ok, about page 4 then

Sorry Jon, this is my 1st pain free day for about 2.5 weeks so i've gone all silly this morning!

did that answer your question though?

Yup, ta, just need the other 180 nobbers to pipe up

CH pointed me here. :)

Tripped over it in a drunken stupor.... and haven't yet figured out how to get the feckin site off me computer....

Word of mouth

Carly Baby told me - searched quite a bit on google and other search engines for forums or information on our kind of boats and didnt come up with much at all apart from the boats and outboard site and some RYA stuff.

The Splash / index page of Boatmad.com does not appears to have any information in the meta tags e.g. keywords maybe thats why its hard to find.

Have you submitted the site to the search engines? If so then you should add in the meta tags and re-submit it to get higher more targeted rankings in the search eninges. Like I said the only meta I can find on the front page is this is the title tag...

"This is 'Boatmad.com' The UK's premier website for performance boat
enthusiasts, incorporating Powerboat racing, Poker runs, Open Forum, Powerboat
gallery and performance boating links page."

Constructive critism I hope!

going to be reeeeely bullied now :)

I think the RIBnet link is a powerful one... so a less arrogant approach to RIBS might be overdue???

RIBnet is to Boatmad...a bit like Rugby is to Football????

( you know; Ribnet a sport for hooligans run by gentlemen...oh and BM the reverse :D )

Missus

(TD however is a cut above; more eclectic approach:up: )

Matt found me on OSO and pointed me towards the light.

Seems like a nice forum. Its good to see so many owners with real boats, Ring, Phantom, etc.

It aint the size. . . . its what you do with it that counts.
