Not on the 280 electronics. The ECU are pretty much tamper proof. I think there is a guy in the states that can reprogram them. You need a 56PSI fuel regulator to run much over 8000rpm and the 280 ECU MAP isnt programmed for this. Also I believe the coils dont recharge quick enough to operate at more than 8500RPM. I guess if they're running at over 9000 they're using 260's, Drags, F1's or 280's with electronics from the aforementioned.
