Rules:

 During the event the ‘Collisions at Sea Regulations’ MUST be adhered to at all times.

 Any speed/wash limits imposed by local authorities/harbour controls
MUST be obeyed.

 Remember, safety takes preference at all times! A safe event is the most important factor to all of us. Remember the poker run slogan, “Water on the water & Beer on the pier”

 The wearing of life preservers is highly recommended whilst on the water. Waterproof clothing and helmets are advisable if it looks like it will rain!

 The poker run will be run in and around the Solent and it’s approaches, Lat & long positions will be given for the check-points together with a basic “photocopied” A4 chart showing the ideal routes. It is the responsibility of each team/skipper to plan their route, to ensure their safe navigation during the event.

 Please maintain sea safety regulations and help others if in distress! Thank you.

Collection of Cards
All cards collected at the five check points of the poker run MUST remain in their sealed envelopes until the team/driver is called up to the game board during the evening presentation.

A ‘splash proof’ zip-up document folder will be given to each team containing the details of the run. On collection of each card at the five stops, the cards (in sealed envelopes) should be put into the folder to ensure the integrity of the envelopes in the event of a soaking, a disintegrated envelope which reveals the identity of a card prior to the prize giving will invalidate the card(s) and it/they will be replaced.

ALL PLASTIC ENVELOPES MUST BE RETURNED AND PLACED IN BOX BY GAMES BOARD!!!

We recommend all teams have up to date charts of the area to enable this.
All boats should have their own boating insurance, we take no responsibility for the actions of others, each boat and their crew must adhere to the rules of the sea and account for their own actions.

This is not a race but a social boating day. The Poker Run is a game of chance and run as a non-profitable event.
