leg repaint

currently giving my lower leg a repaint, all filled and sanded and ready for priming... what primer should i use, id prefere aerosol really, ive been told either 2 pack etch or zinc primer??

2 pack etch is good. Only have to wait for 5mins in between wet coats. You could probialy get it put in a areosol at a decent paint shop.

what's 3 pack etch?!?!
Often we non-anglo guys don't understand a word of what you have written..!!

sometimes it even looks like some kind of sms/text-language

dunno about 3 pack, but 2 pack etch is a 2 part primer paint (chemical cure, as apposed to regular air drying evaporation cure) that eats into the surface of the metal to provide an excellent bond.

Does'nt anyone use Holts Underseal on their legs anymore?
