Hello All,
Now I do realise that me buying an engine for the Phantom is becoming as much of a Joke as the actual boat itself, but; fear not i may be moving ever closer
I seem to have finally found one; and providing someone doesnt come along and spoil the party, i can afford it.
I've spoke to the very nice yank gentleman whom is selling it and have seen some pics and got lots of info...all checks out pretty cool.....well enough to satisfy me that i wont be getting a crate of junk arrive a few weeks from now.
However, one point of slight concern is that the sportsmaster seems to have a whole drilled through it! I am led to believe that this is done to help relieve back-pressure from the exhaust at certain RPM? its an ex bass boat engine so would it be to help during prolonged idle periods??
should i be worried? or just stop being such a and do me best to make it mine?
thx in advance
