Planning on doing one or two tests with our raceboat before de-rigging for the winter. Was wondering if anyone else felt like bringing their boats along for a run. Could be a chance for a good blast round and a spot of lunch aftrewards in the Waterloo Arms!

Planning on going out from Lymington on Sunday 31st October - high tide is around mid-day. Weather depending and also a possibility of a filming company doing an article on 3C from Portsmouth (date unknown) which would have to come first.

We will probably have our RIB there as well with photographer.

Are we still looking to meet at lymington, because i will have to re-fuel somewhere, as i will be coming from northney marina.

Lymington works well for us - as the slipway is good with pontoons available. Also this time of year it is nice and quiet and there should be space in the car park as well.

might come by road then, and then take the boat to ocean racing on the way back to have the engine taken off for the winter

i havent got an engine hoist and i havent got the room to store it,plus it doesnt cost must to take it off and im having some work done to the bushes, plus the engine will be kept inside a heated workshop all winter, ready to be bolted on in the spring

Yes - looks good for Sunday - will put some more details up tomorrow.

Aiming to get to Lymington around 11:00 ish

God it sounds like you knobbers is gon to have a right laugh on Sunday with your boats and the weather!! LUCKY SODS!!

We can not turn because when we span out at Windermere we fecked the electrics up so not much is working and the trailer is dead on the floor and we need to change gearboxes. To much to do for Sunday.

Let us know how it goes and get some pics on soon!!
