i,m going to look a marshan 21 on tuesday. any major faults or anything i should be on the look out for. do the have serial no that you can tell there age from .any info would help .when did they stopbuilding them

they stopped making them in 91 ive got a 19 and the only problem ive had with mine was the gelcoat on the visor went funny!irang them theyve still got a few moulds left and made me a new one! if u ring terry or colin they'll help u out! really nice guys!

heres the number soz forgot! 01797362215. Believe it or not and dont laugh but they farm potatoes! its called Romney marsh potatoe company! thats also wot the RM on the back of the boats stands for too! Oh and there is a number on them i think mines on the transom on the outside from memory!

There was one on B&O about a month ago, just a hull, was a pools winners boat! needed a new interior but the hull was sound and good gelcoat......... was only £350

i own one

there not bad the floor can rot out cos there is no protection on the underside.

the corners are a bit to sharp so they tend to have some cracking in the gel coat, well mine does but it is a race boat.

i think there good boats mine has lasted 16 years, they are a hard ride so i think it will brake the driver before the boat.

if you got any questions let me know or if you want some pictures or to look at mine to compare thats not a problem:up:

Hey little pete is ur marshan red and silver? if it is i saw that race at bournemouth! thats a quick boat! I see u ru n an xr2 thats wot ive got on mine out of interest wot offset and prop do u run?

yer i had a good race till the bow tank split but it is 16 yrs old

i'm running a tempest 23 at the moment with the 2:1 ratio gearbox, not realy looked at the offset cos i can't realy change it but its not central, i might measure it tomorrow as i've spend all day removing the engine and it would be easy to do

i've just bought a lifter and borrowed a load of props to see how i go

people recon a laser is the best so i've got a 23 and a 25 to try before the season starts

What sort of set up are you running?

xr2, only an inch offset and a 23 cleaver! its not jacked either! tryed that it went well but it also went where it wanted to! ha ha! the acceloration is unreal once the prop stops slipping but its such a handfull once it is going! the bow always wants to dig in for some reason but someone said to me that the cleavers lift the back anyway? thats why i wondered wot u were running! wots yours max out at sea then?

i've seen a constent 63 mph out of it on a poker run, but its always hard to read when racing.

the marshan is known for being a stuffy boat so that probably also exspains teh reason behind the nose down.

i'm going to use the lifter for testing and setting up purposes and leave it alone once its set up

well let me know wot difference it makes! cheers for your help!
